Educational purpose

This website offers general information about machine-assisted archaeological research. It is not professional archaeological, legal, land-access, engineering or conservation advice. It does not verify readers’ discoveries, provide a complete heritage inventory or replace assessment by appropriately qualified specialists and relevant authorities.

A model output, remote-sensing anomaly or contextual photograph does not establish that an archaeological site exists. We are not affiliated with the organisations, researchers or journals cited unless expressly stated.

Lawful and responsible use

Do not use the website to facilitate trespass, looting, unlawful collecting, damage to heritage, harassment or unauthorised access to data. Nothing here grants permission to enter land, disturb deposits, operate survey equipment or fly an aircraft or drone. Obtain required permissions and comply with local heritage, safety, environmental and privacy rules.

Do not attempt to compromise the site, disrupt access or introduce malicious code. Do not send confidential information, sensitive site coordinates or personal data about others through editorial correspondence.

Content and intellectual property

Original editorial material and site design are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may read the site, link to its pages and make personal study copies.
